| It's my fav festive holiday of the year now - Chinese New Year! Still got 6 more days to go before it ends. Was very lucky once again this year to be home for CNY. Last year i had cny eve, cny 1st and 2nd day at home! This time, buddy jem did me a great favour by changing schedule with me. Originally i would miss cny eve, and half of cny 1st day. After changing, i would only miss cny eve. Thanx buddy! Had an early reunion dinner with my family on 29th nite (lunar calendar). Dinner was ok but it was the company that matters. =) As usual, went visiting the whole day on the 1st day. Last stop was at grand aunt's place @ balestier. First time, i sacrifice my black jack winning streak during cny for mj with igualans at my place. Lucky it was a right choice. Was the biggest winner that nite, bringing my gambling winning streak during cny to 20-0. Day 2: Relatives would visit my place on the 2nd day cny. Same ppl every year. Was nice to see an aunt of mine. Havent seen her for long time. As usual, small sized gambling den would start with my cousins and their parents. Cousin kel made a killing this time, making up for his loss last nite at mj. At nite, went to great uncle's place at pasir ris. Had to leave early cuz got work the next morning. sianz.. Cousin kheng gave me a lift in his Honda Civic Type R. Ride was shiok! When will i have one myself? Next day, end of cny festivities for me. Went sydney for work. sucky feeling.. Work was good. Colleagues were nice and fun. so it wasnt so bad after all. This year, saw a lot of changes after all the cny visiting, some relatives are not in good health, newphews, nieces all grown up a little, more and more babies ard. haha. Anyway, wish everyone good health and good wealth for this Year of the Rat. On a more personal note.. 2008 hasnt started well for me. Think my luck rides along together with the lunar calendar. As cny approaches, things turn out better for me. Thank god. Thank you so much. Hope it only gets better throughout the year. I even strike toto for the 1st time. Small prize though. haha. Now aiming for the big angbao draw to fulfil my dreams. Chinese horoscope says this year good year for me. Let's see how accurate it is. signing off from.. Copenhagen, Denmark. |
