| Azzurri is thru to the 2nd Rd thanx to Matrix and Supper Pippo! Next oppoenent will be the Socceroos and Revenge Against Guus Hiddink!! Grrr!!!! Previous post... Group Stage: Group A -- Germany & Poland Group B -- England & Sweden Group C -- Argentina & Holland (Ivory Coast will be the dark horse) Group D -- Mexico & Portugal Group E -- ITALY & Czech (USA will be hard to beat) Group F -- Brazil & Croatia (Australia might be the surprise package) Group G -- France & Switzerland Group H -- Spain and Ukraine (Ukraine will make an impact) Results for chilli's Grp Stage Perdictions... Accuracy: 13/16 = An amazing 81.25%!!! The ones that went wrong: Poland(Ecuador), Czech(Ghana) and Croatia(Australia) I've also correctly predicted that Ivory Coast was the dark horse that delighted everyone, USA was tough to beat(esp. for the Azzurri), Australia the Surprise Package and Ukraine making an impact(esp. 4-0 thrashing of Saudi Arabia) Now for chilli's 2nd Rd predictions... 2nd Round: Germany vs Sweden = Germany England vs Ecuador = England Argentina vs Mexico = Argentina Portugal vs Holland = Holland ITALY vs Australia = ITALY Brazil vs Ghana = Brazil Switzerland vs Ukraine = Ukraine Spain vs France = Spain Let's see how accurate I am! | Started my job(career) for a week already. Glad that i've got to know 19 other nice frenz/colleagues. =) Everything has been going quite well so far. Hope it remains like that. Hmm... but i dun likem my current hair style.. it's makes me look old.. i think i'll cut back short. =) Many tests/exams coming up. must pass must pass must pass!! *pray* Quite a lot to study so i hope my academic engine hasn't stop or rust yet. haha. Still a long way to go (29/9/2006), i'll give my very best! Final group matches coming up.. Azzurri needs only a point to qualify but a win will earn them top spot in Grp E and avoid Brazil. C'mon Italy!!! Forza Azzurri! |

| The FIFA World Cup 2006 will kick off in 1 day 10 hrs 15 mins and counting down... I feel that this World Cup will have less surprises compare to prev ones, but there will still be a 1 or 2 surprises. I'm looking at Ivory Coast, USA, Australia and Ukraine to make an impact but the usual suspects will still make it thru. So who do you think will win the Worlc Cup? Here's my predcitions. | Many things happen and changed during my 2 months exile from blogging... I've finally completed my 15 years of education. That's it. I feel a bit lost at first. It's like what should i do next. For the last 17 years, we all just blindly follow the "traditional" route of pri sch -> sec sch -> jc -> army -> uni without having to think of the next step. Now u are slapped with your long future to think of. Kinda scary.. Less freedom, less play time. Gonna miss all schooling days even though we often complain abt exams, tests, projects and stuff. It's like back to reality/Reality suddenly struck my head. I'm now at a crossroad in my life.. Anyway, after my exams, i went for my grad trip with a bunch of Wahine frenz, Mayi, Junxiang, Joelle, Shiya and Vianne. I had to postpone my flight by 2 days due to a job interview. Luckily it was worth it. Glad that girl postponed her flight too to accompany me. Hugz~ So the rest of the gang flew to Gold Coast first. For this aussie trip, we toured Gold Coast and Sydney. Took a lot of pics! A dvd full of pics! Had great fun there and enjoyed myself very much. Thanx guys! Will try to post some of the pics up. =) With my future and lotsa things to think of, i was lucky to have found a job and hopefully a career. Sigh.. but i'm quite sad.. sad that many ppl doubt me... ppl doubt my ability to play some sports, ppl doubt my intelligence, ppl doubt my army vocation, and now ppl doubt my occupation... wtf.. I hate them! The more they doubt me, the more i want to prove them wrong. Fuck off, suckers! Luckily, i have ppl who supported me and are happy for me. Thanx guys. Hope i'll do well. World Cup is coming! So excited! I'm rooting for my Italia to win in! it's been 24 years since they last lifted soccer's greatest prize. But they are hit with match fixing scandals in Serie A. Hoow it wun affect their morale and performance. One good thing is that they will be less hype on them and thus less pressure. So i believe they will do well. Forza Azzurri!! |
