| Last nite, NUS Choir performed at the SSSS(Singapore Structure Steel Society???) dinner. It was the choir's first external performance of the sem with a lot of freshies performing for the first time. We did quite ok, at least didnt have any major mistakes. Though not very good but it was commendable as we learned the songs in just 2 practices. haha. One very happy thing is that this performance made Yuxian changed her mind of quitting choir. Dunno what really made her change her mind. Will try to find out from her soon. haha. Hope she could persuade Shujun to stay also. After the performance, me, Shihui, Lingfang, Chaiyen, Liyi and Sam went Cafe Cartel to eat. I juz ordered a drink cuz i ate liaoz, while Lingfang and Shihui shared a salad. Yummy! Shared a few jokes and really had a good laugh. =D haha! It's been a while since we had any choir outing for supper/drink after any performance liaoz. Kinda miss those days...
Now for the boring part... today met up with Isaac, Junxian, Joelle and Vianne to discuss 02 and 03 projects. Glad that we have a plan in mind liaoz and we started early. But i also realised that i really need to catch up with my work. So many things that need to be self-learned. Luckily, Isaac and Junxian can get a lot of help from Comp club seniors so at least we got somebody to help us if we encounter any problems. Hope our group can do well in our projects. *pray* I really need to get rid of the Cs that i got for all my comp modules and push my CAP up. *pray* It seems like a lot of ppl are being troubled by problems recently... But i couldnt help them much, only able to lend a listening ear and some comforting words. sigh... The sun will shine once again when the storm is over. Dun be let down by your troubles, u will become a stronger person when they're gone... cheer up, my frenz! |

| Today went to CSS for alumni choir prac. It was a full rehearsal for the Alumni Dinner next week. After last nite's fruitful prac at evelyn's, today we sounded not bad though not very good yet. But at least i feel we are reaching some performance standard. This is not a competition or SYF and we only have prac once every week so i dun expect us to be very very good. Unfortunately some ppl in the choir are not happy with the standard we have now. Well, maybe they shouldn't be so perfectionist and should take things one small step at a time. At least we are improving and that's more impt. Anyway, we are the last item of the dinner and we'll end the dinner with a bang by singing CSS sch song! haha. oh man, hope everyone still remember the sch song. haha! We'll be having dinner before or during our performance to give the Alumni some face.
After rehearsal today, me, bui and zhenjia went down to play our soccer match. I was a bit nervous and pressured cuz i wanted to score a goal and dedicate it to my dEaR~. And thank god, i did score and it was 2 nice goals. We started the first half very badly. Everyone was rusty, lousy first touches, foul throws, bad passes, no communication and were too fanciful. Soon, we conceded a goal, our defence was in total chaos which let in the goal. We had little creativity up front. Then, one moment, i got the ball from junhong with my back facing the goal. i stopped the ball, turned, looked up and saw 4 defenders and no teammates. So i took a shot from outside the penalty box. It was curling and it dipped into the top corner! GOAL! 1-1 One goal for my dEaR~! But soon, our leaky defence conceded another goal. *Half-time: 1-2* 2nd half, we intro fresh legs into the game, and now we were more settled and awake. Our defence was playing well esp. Yan and Kok Ming. Our midfield started to win the ball, and we got more chances up front. Soon the 2nd goal came. Frankie had the ball on the right, Bui overlaps and got the ball with a defender with him. He lobang him and crossed the ball to me. I got to the ball first b4 the goalkeeper and GOAL! 2-2! Equaliser! 2nd goal for dEaR~! I tried very hard to score a hattrick but failed to do so. sigh.. The match ended 2-2. Was very delighted to have scored 2 impt goals and after the match immediately called her to share my joy. =) 4 goals in 2 matches. Hope this hot form continues... ;) |

| Today is another long and tiring day for me. Had non-stop lectures from 12-6pm then went for choir after that til 10+. Think this sem i'm gonna fall sick and slim down. haha. cuz on mons and thurs i dun really have time to have a proper meal. Will also be very busy with sch work and choir stuff so will not have enuff rest or sleep so might fall sick easily. *touchwood* haha. Tmr is fri again! one week has passed again. so fast. i have to start my engine fast if not cant catch up liaoz.
Yesterday went to watch Secret Window with deAr~ Met her after her driving lessons amd went town to watch the movie. The movie was a bit monotonous(dunno use correct word or not) but had a good twist to it. Overall, not a bad movie. Oh man, S'pore is so small and boring! No interesting or fun place to go to. We went Suntec to walk walk and had dinner at Crystal Jade. I had Dan Dan La Mian whose soup contains peanut paste! it's so peanut that i didnt finish it. haha. Luckily, she nv ordered that otherwise whole bowl no need to eat liaoz. haha. Sent her home after that and it started to rain again. argh! keep raining whole day! Oh man, wish the day wouldn't end. Feels so great going out with someone u love. haha. =P Did a personality test which Liyi sent me. haha. I feel it's quite true abt me. what do u guys think? haha.

| Had a very very very long day today. Was in sch from 10am-10pm with no breaks in between. Almost dead by the time i reached home at 11+. ='( Though tired today but was so happy to see turQ today!!! cuz didnt get to meet up during the weekend. ;) Had my first tutorials today. All my tutors seemed quite nice so it wasnt that bad. Crashed genes lecture today to accompany her, was very tired liaoz but i dun mind. After lecture, she went to work while i went for my malay tutorial. Had a hard time finding the bloody classroom, FASS is a bloody maze! argh! Cikgu Yanti was very nice and friendly and the tutorial class was interesting. Learned a lot of new things today, hope i can digest all of it. After that, went for choir prac at LT13. By the time everything ended, it was 10+ and was super tired and hungry. Didnt had any proper meal for the whole day. Missed my stop while on the way home. Think i'm too tired. Finally reached home at ard 11+. Battery almost flat... |

| Stoopid blog! Always give me problems. Last nite cant write anything, only this morning then can write. argh!! ok. I need to jangan tension. relak a bit. haha. Finally got my malay tut slot. but it's on mon 6-8pm. oh no... i'm gonna miss choir prac on mon. but i will still be able to maek it for voice class at 5-6pm. then go for malay 6-8pm then go back choir 8-10pm. oh man, gonna die on mondays. Mondays will be 10am-10pm for me with only 1 hr break in between.
Anyway, watched Alien vs Predator last nite. It was a good show with a bit of comedy though a bit short. haha. Had dinner at Fish and Co after that. Long time no eat there liaoz. The seafood platter's still da best! haha. Had a wonderful nite, really wish it would nv end. Thanx a lot! =) |

| Today woken up by an sms which brightens up my day. =) But later in the day, something happened and it kinda dampened my mood and made me a bit disappointed. =( sigh... Anyway, juz logged on to cors and realised i got all my tutorial slots except my malay! oh no... might have to choose some weird tut timing for that liaoz. Damn! Dunno izzit good or bad news, some of us got the tut slots for 02 and 03, but some didnt. Bad news is that the rest have to bid for other unfavourable tut timings. Good news is that in this way, it kinda helped us solved a bit of our project grouping problem. However, we still need to solve within those who got the tut. argh!! headache again. Tmr meeting shiya to get 1231 textbook and bid for my malay. Then after that meeting Deb to sell the textbook to her. Thanx Deb! Going out in the evening! Looking forward to it... *pRaY* |

| Feeling very tired and hungry while i'm typing this now. Been a long day today. In the morning, went sch early to UCC to settle choir stuff then rush to meet frenz to discuss abt tut bidding and project grouping. Sigh.. think it was a wasted meeting. All the while i was trying to lead the coordination but no one (except for some) really bother abt what i'm toking and kept doing their own stuff. Felt a bit pissed cuz i was trying to settle everything before i need to rush to attend my lecture yet no one is cooperating. Luckily, in the end managed to settle the tut slots and timings but the project grouping wasnt done yet. sigh.. really having headache over the groupings. sigh....
In the evening, went for the first choir prac of the sem. "Learned" Fly Me to The Moon and Lonesome Road cuz some of the ppl havent learned them yet. Had an exco meeting after prac to discuss abt the orientation stuff for choir freshies. I'm gonna reuse some of the games played during FOW for choir orientation on thurs. haha! =P We also planned for a Breeks informal dinner and hopefully a chalet if not bbq at PGP! haha. Think me and sam gonna be arrowed to be games IC again. Sigh.. Really busy with choir stuff, lucky nv join Merry Widow if not i'm already dead by now. Reached home quite late. Tired and hungry and... sigh.... |

| Yesterday was a long day. Had lessons til 12pm, then had FOW debrief, then went NUH for lunch, then went Cineleisure for movie, then went to Stella's play, then went Chomp Chomp for supper. What a day. Reached home quite late and damn tired. Food at Chomp Chomp was nice but didnt really got the mood to eat. Got a lot of things in mind. But luckily, went home and i let everything out. Feel much much better now. Thanx a lot.
Today, did nothing much. Went to CSS for Alumni choir prac then after that went Donald's hse for bbq. Quite a lot of ppl turned up. The food was good and plenty but didnt eat much. There were a lot of alcohol also but i didnt drink. Dunno y. Maybe not in the mood to drink. Reached home at ard 12am. tired.... Just changed my blog song. Nice song -- Right Here Waiting. | Hmm.. It's been quite some time since i last wrote an entry. Been very busy with choir and FOW the past week. Damn tired... and then i went to Penang last Sat, chance for me to relax and take a breather after a long draining week. Got a lot of things to say so this entry is gonna be quite a long one. haha.
2/8 - 7/8 FOW First day of FOW, i couldnt be ard for FOW for the whole day cuz i was involved in FIC performance with choir. We had to perform 2 sessions that day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. During the first session, we sounded ok only, we could habve done better or maybe the acoustics and mics didnt do us good. Btw this is the first time my SoC frenz (though only got shiya and joelle) have heard me or xiugui sang in the choir after one whole year! haha. Very happy that they are able to hear us hough they might not know how to appreciate choral music but i really appreciate their presence and comments. haha. Thanx shiya and joelle! After the first session ended, the choir went to Dome and Jo and Borys treated all of us to drinks! thanx! We also had our lunch over here. With still so much time to spare, as usual, we, like most choristers, started to sing! haha. Everyone at Dome was looking at us but we didnt care. haha. Some even joined us and move to the beat of our songs. haha! Then we had our 2nd session. It was much better than the 1st one though still not very good. Maybe this time we were all very warmed-up and less pressured. After FIC, me and xiugui joined our SoC frenz to celebrate Stella's B-day at Marche. All of us ordered diff food to share. Nice! haha. Had a long but fun day. =) tired... 2nd day of FOW -- Flag Day It was Flag day so nothing to do for FOW also. Juz need to help out Stella(yr 3) to register and give out the tin cans. Then me and the FOW comm and KC went to clementi party world for KTV. Joelle couldn't join us cuz she have to go sell flag with her OG cuz Sarah couldnt go. sigh.. I had the 4 hr free ktv coupon so each only had to pay for the drinks and tidbits. Murah! haha. We went back SoC in the evening to see whether they need any help or not. It was a short day. =) 3rd day FOW -- Amazing Race and Choir Welcome Tea Had to reach sch very early again to prepare for my Amazing Race(AR) and bid for my bloody module! argh!! The whole morning was very chaotic for me, AR, bid modules then later choir. going crazy! I have Choir Welcome Tea in the afternoon so gotta settle everything before i leave and pass everything to Teck Leep. Luckily everything went smoothly and no major cock-ups. *phew* Thanx Teck Leep and Shiya for helping me with the station ICs. Then in the afternoon i left for Choir Welcome Tea. Though attendance was not really very good but it was better than last year(last year only 2 freshies!) But the food was not really enuff. Chaiyen, tsk tsk... haha. We sang a few songs for the freshies to listen and it was a terrible mistake. We sounded damn bad cuz everyone was not warmed-up yet. So embarassing! haha. Tried to talk and mingle with the freshies and get them to come for auditions. haha. After CWT, choir exco and musico had meeting to discuss things for this coming 2 semesters. shant write the details here. After a long long meeting, the whole exco went FS for dinner! 1st time the whole exco had a meal together! haha! Reached home damn late.. tired... got only one module -- LAM 1201 one more module to go... =( 4th day FOW -- Unix and Field Games Today was another busy day. Gotta bid for my last module and also help out for the UNIX workshop. Another chaotic day for me. Luckily by noon, UNIX stuff was almost done and i could bid my module. After searching dunno how many modules, fianlly found GEK1535 -- our atmosphere. 1 point to get it! woohoo! shiya and xiugui also taking that with me! i'm not alone! yeah! I could then relax a bit. In the afternoon, i had to set up and get everyone to the field to play Captain's Ball. Attendance was very poor, in the end, i had only 2 freshie OG left to play. The game went well and everyone was enjoying themselves(i think so..). Everyone was super shagged after that, so i gathered those freshie still able to play and play them against the Seniors Team. haha. It was damn fun and exciting but i couldnt join in cuz i was the referee. haha. In the end, the freshies won! Guess the Seniors are really too old and slow liaoz. haha. FOW comm went Mac for dinner and discussed abt tmr's games. Thanx everyone! Reached home damn late again. Another tiring passed.... 5th day FOW -- Outdoor games and SoC nite Gotta wake up early to go sch again to prepare for my Telematch and Battle Royale. Luckily my whole FOW comm plus Haojie and Shiwen came to help me set up. Everything was set up fast and good. Thanx everyone! The Telematch went smoothly and the freshies had great fun esp. the watermelon stage. haha. It was a very exciting Telematch and it's nice to see everyone cheering including seniors cheering at the sides. Then next, Battle Royale, the game didnt went smoothly at first and i gotta raise my voice at everyone. So sorry. Hope u guys understand... Everyone washed up and went for SoC Nite. I was supposed to go for IVP soccer trials but i decided not to and stayed for SoC Nite with everyone. We helped to wrap up the presents and help teck leep think of the programmes. Luckliy, we managed to come up with a few ideas and everything went ok. SoC was hosted by KC and April and the FOW got to play the games too! haha. It was enjoyable and the food was much better than last year's. haha. After everything, teck leep sent me and joelle home before everyone came back to SoC to stay overnite. We watched the rag dancers rehearsed, went FS for supper, had drinks at comp club, played mahjong at S15 and scared ourselves during mahjong. haha! It was fun but damn tiring. Was battling the Zzz monster thru the nite. But unfortunately, in the morning, i lost my hp. Stupid me left my hp at the toilet after use. sigh.. maybe too tired liaoz. 6th day FOW -- Rag and Flag Day! I tried to be happy for the Rag and Flag cuz no point pulling a long face. I helped bring the freshies to SRC to get ready to cheer for SoC. It was very crowded there and our space were taken up by others so after gathering our forces, we managed to get back our place. xiugui joined us in between and we couldnt recognise her cuz she was wearing very hip-hop. so cute! haha! After that, more SoC ppl came and we went forward to cheer for SoC. KC and the FOW comm lead the cheers and i feel we(all SOCians) did a good job cheering though there were only a few of us. well done guys! Well done rag dancers and float-builders! We're so proud of u! SoC Rox! What a week for me! tired sia! After Rag, i went to Penang to relax bit with my family. Really need a break. Hope to heal my wounds...
