| Last sat, 22nd Jan 2005, marked a very special event in my life and in the short history of Common . Voices... We had our very 1st concert! Yes! We did it! I'm so proud of us, Common . Voices kias! We had our very 1st concert and it was run successfully all by ourselves! I'm so proud of all of us! Cant believe we did it! Love ya all! haha! Even though our sound weren't of the best quality, but we didnt mind and i think the audience didnt mind. Thanx Igualans for coming to support me and bui. Thanx SoC frenz for coming also. and finally THANX dear for coming to watch! haha. It's your first time seeing me perform other than the caroling. haha. Hope our efforts and hard work have moved the audience as much as it moved ourselves. Remember my "sis", shujun, shed tears while we were practising "Flying free" just before the concert. It was a very touching moment, with the emcees's words + peixin's piano accompaniment, think most of us do feel touched too. I, too, nearly shed a tear... ='( It was a concert full of sincerity and strong CSSians togetherness. (dunno how to express myself..haha.) From the audience to us, the performers, i feel we are like a family, so closed-knitted even among different batches... so much things to say, so full of emotions... that i cant express it in words.. the feeling is so magical... All those late nites pracs at fush's place and song's place, learning the songs, organising the concert, thinking of concert and choir names, those pre-concert anxiety and nervousness... undescribable feeling... Hope this choir will go on forever, think we laid a good foundation for the future and hope we can achieve greater things in future! Love ya all, CoMMoN . VoIcEs kias!!! *muackz*

| It's been a long time since i last blog(again). haha. so here's some update..
Sch has started for a week le. So far got all 5 modules le. But i wish to change my malay 2 and take other modules instead. Too bad, i dun have enuff pts to get the modules i want. sigh... nvm, i shall store more points for next sem to take modules with girl. So far after first week of lect, i feel this sem is gonna be tougher than last sem. The modules are more difficult and need a lot of time to be put into it. sigh.. think gonna get Cs again after one sem of no Cs... Nus Choir has also started our prac. Now with Common Voices's concert this coming sat, nus choir's concert in Feb and leiyu in Feb, i'm gonna die singing and memorising lyrics! sigh... after VV, think i might quit choir le. time for me to rest and spend more time on other commitments. This sem is also the first time that me and girl take same module alone. haha. So got more time in sch together and can study together! haha! Let's work hard and push up our pathetic CAP, girl! ;) Just came back from National Stadium watching Tiger Cup Final between S'pore and Indonesia. S'pore won 2-1(5-2)!!! S'pore wins the Tiger Cup for the 2nd time! Well done , Lions! haha. The whole stadium is full-house and a sea of red. Havent seen such a crowd since the Malaysia Cup days. haha. After soccer, went to geylang for supper with Bui, Ang and SA gang. Went home after that cuz very tired cuz morning play soccer and afternoon went to Joann's place to visit her and my newborn niece,Shann! haha. I've just become an uncle again! haha. Congrats, cousin! and welcome to this wonderful world, baby Shann! haha. Shall do some advertisement here... haha! | Actually wrote an enrty yesterday but accidentally deleted it. so pissed... but decided to recall what i wrote and write again. Havent been blogging for quite some time liaoz. Last few days were very memorable for me...
30th Dec 2004 - This year igualans didnt have any plans cuz everyone's not free so we decided to go West Coast Park for a little gathering. Went there to tok cock, drink and eat junk food. haha. simple but enjoyable. long time no get together liaoz. 31st Dec 2004 - Actually supposed to join vianne and her frenz to go Esplanade for countdown and see fireworks. But due to the tsunami disaster, fireworls was cancelled. I met up with vianne to have dinner at bugis and we went down to Esplanade to go see see even though there's no fireworks. There were some performances and Corrine May was performing. Some of her songs are quite nice. She sang FLy Away which Lingfang sent me the mp3. very nice and touching song. A minute of silence was observed before everyone counted down to 2005. After countdown, we walked back to her place. A lot of ppl were spraying those stuff on the passer-bys, luckily didnt kena any. haha. Get to spend last day of 2004 and beginning of 2005 with dear. so happy! haha. 1st Jan 2005 - Went over to vianne's place to help her get all the bbq stuff for her chalet. First time going to her place. stressed but excited. haha. Checked in to the chalet with her and after settling down, went Bedok to buy food for bbq. haha. Soon it was evening, and her frenz came. The first nite, she invited our SoC frenz and her sec sch frenz. Finally got to know her frenz. During cake cutting, we were both kena teased and saboed. haha. it was embarassing but fun. Didnt get to be the first to wish her happy b-day cuz she was tokign to her fren on the phone. sigh... but nvm. Played "99" thru the nite and forfeit was truth or drink. haha. Only slept when SoC frenz left in the morning... tired... 2nd Jan 2005 - Slept til afternoon and it was raining. Some of her frenz had already arrived. Had Mac for breakfast thanx to her fren for helping us buy. Then later went to buy more food and resupplies for bbq at downtown east. It feels nice to be walking slowly in the rain and sharing umbrella with ya loved one. haha. think i'm crazy le. Soon, it was evening and her family came and a while later we started the fire for bbq. Later that nite, my family came also. It was very stressed cuz got a lot of her frenz ard and also her family. Think she handled the situation very well. Well done, girl! Luckily everything went smoothly. During cake cutting session, she took photos with different groups of frenz and family. she sure got a lot of frenz. haha. At nite, only her frenz stayed over. We were both very tired after busy for 2 days so went to sleep and didnt stay up thru the nite. It was a very memorable 2 days and hope she is happy. Happy 21st Birthday, dear! There's a lot of things i want to say but dunno how to say... Btw, no need to thank me for helping u with the chalet and being ya maria cuz i'm ya boy mah. haha. Just wanna make u feel happy during ya birthday and have an unforgettable 21st birthday. Think thru all the chalet and bbq prep working together, our relationship got better and closer. hope we can continue to improve! love ya, girl! *hugz* 3rd Jan 2005 - Went to watch Meet the Fockers with Wahine ppl. It's a damn funny anf x-rated show. haha. Long time no go out with wahine le. thanx joelle for org this outing. haha. after movie, we all went tcc for coffee and tok cock. sat under the aircon.. cold... brrr.. haha. Nice gathering juzt before sch starts next week. haha. 4th Jan 2005 - Went over to ivy's place for igualans mini celebration for our 10 yrs of frenship. One decade had gone past us so fast! Feel so old liaoz. haha. Broguht vianne along to intro to them. As expected, i was kena suan by them in front of her, brought up all my stoopid past and silly stuff. haha. Actually i dun mind at all, cuz like this then fun mah. haha. Hope she didnt feel sianz. HAd a lot of food and couldnt finish. It was a simple celebration, too bad there were no cake and jenn couldnt join us. Cheers to a decade of friendship! 10 yrs and many more to come! Love ya guys! |
