| Going back to Hendon tmr. Gonna see my good old pals of 2 Coy! =) However, some of them did not receive the letter so wun be going back tmr plus those studying overseas. sigh.. nvm. at least majority are going back. Took my IPPT just now at Maju and got silver. Qutie happy with the result cuz as expected, my SBJ cant make it so gotta settle for a silver. At least all my training and effort didnt go to waste. Maybe i'll go train harder next year and aim for gold. haha. Just finished packing all my army stuff for tmr. While packing my full-pack, SBO, No. 4 and stuff, i had a nice nostalgic feeling of those NS days, can even "smell" the sweat and blood that i shed on the uniform and equipment. haha. Going back to Hendon is one nice feeling(minus the suffering lah) but i'm gonna miss a lot of things while i serve the nation. oh well, at least i'm paid during ICT. haha. Lastly hope my 1st ever ICT will be an enjoyable one and hope that Cpt Raj will be fine. I'll be back...

| Today is my last day of work. Very sad to be leaving but i got no choice. sigh... It's been great pleasure to work with my colleagues(SW, ST, FL, JUN, SK, MD, TY, CY, AN, MZ and WX) during these few weeks and nice to have known these bunch of great peeps! Gonna miss them and the slacking ard at office. haha! Hope to be able to go back work again. =P Will be going back to Hendon to serve the nation on fri. Hope everything goes well for me during ICT. This morning had voice class with Rueben. As usual, his voice class is always full of jokes and laughter and i always enjoy attending them. =) Learned qt a lot today, hope i can put them into practice when i sing. haha. Gonna miss next week's voice class due to ICT. damn... Having mixed feelings now... lots of emotions running thru my head... hmm... Havent been sleeping enuff these few days cuz stayed up to watch Euro matches. haha. Gonna miss lots of matches when i go ICT esp. Italy's matches! damn! Hope will find a way to sneak out to watch. haha. Havent prepared all my gear and stuff for ICT, got a whole day tmr to do it. sianz... Gonna miss a lot of things this weekend also like Father's Day, Newphew's B-dae, CSS Alumni choir prac, work and stuff... Hope i dun set a bad example to the alumni juniors. haha. Looking forward to Summer Camp on 28th June. Hope it'll be fun! =) Lastly, hope Portugal and Spain will win tonite. haha! Best Bet! Bai Liu Li Bai... Hui Bu Hui Kai!!! =D |

| 4 matches have been played and there was one major upset... After so much hype even before Euro 2004 started, France finally played against England last nite. The match was not as exciting as expected but it's still exciting. As i expected, after so much bullshitting and toking abt how Henry is gonna take Euro by storm in newspapers and magazines, *ALL THESE PPL CAN KISS MY BLODDY ASS!*, Henry is just an ordinary player in international football. Last nite, he was just another ordinary player which didn't impress much at all despite all the expectations. Will give him some credit for earning the winning penalty though, but other than that, he's done nothing much thru out the game. U want to know why he can perform so well in EPL? CUZ EPL DEFENDERS ARE A BUNCH OF SOFT-TACKLING SISSIES AND WIMPS! Ask Henry to come play in Serie A, the toughest league in the world, and you'll see him score half the goals he scored in EPL and will be as quiet as he is at international level. As for Zidane, he didnt performed to his very best last nite, but luckily, he showed true determination and excellent skills to score the injury time free-kick and nerves of steel and confidence to score the winning penalty(which helped me win money!) A glimpse of Zizou magic! I had already thrown away my betting slip by the 90th min but after Zizou's double, i went to the dustbin to find it back immediately! haha! lucky i nv tore the slip! *phew* This France v England match was of uncanny similarity to that of the Champ League Final in 1999 between Bayern Munich and Man U. Man U won the Final thru 2 injury time goals similar to that of France's last nite. haha. This is a taste of their own medicine for Beckham, Scholes, Neville, Butt and all Man U players and sweet revenge for Lizarazu! Take that, Man U suckas! haha! So much for Henry being the top-scorer and star of the tournament, i personally think the players and teams to watch out for are Christian Vieri, Wayne Rooney, Czech, and Sweden and also not forgetting the deadly attacking trio of Del Piero, Totti and Vieri!
Tonite, the Azzurri is playing their first match against the Danes. But there's one small problem that's troubling me. I feel that Camoranesi shldn't be in the squad! He's Argentinian! And also i feel Pirlo shld play instead of Perrota. sigh.. Dunno what Trap is thinking but hope everything goes right for the Italians. Before the tournament, not much limelight and media attention is given to the Italians which is a good thing. I personally believe, too much media attention, expectations and hype will do nothing good to the team. It's better than to keep a low profile. and also i believe all the crap abt the teams' form during qualifiers, friendlies and pre-tournament warm-up matches are bullshit. When the tournament starts, everything is reset. I believe all the teams are on equal level so anything can happen, u can forget abt all the stats and history. There are bound to be surprises and upsets which will make the tournament even more exciting! Lastly, i just wanna wish Italy all the best tonite and show the world what they can do. Watch out, everyone... Here comes the Azzurri! Forza Azzurri!!! |

| Havent been blogging these few days. Have been either busy or too tired to blog. haha. Well, i'm back! haha. Got qt a few things to write abt for the whole week, so will be a long entry again. Shall start from Jubilate workshop on wed...
The workshop wasn't as bad as i expected. Learn a few good techniques of singing from Mike Brewer, our workshop Tutor. He's a very funny and interesting guy with a lot of experience in choral music and conducting. During the workshop, he said he was interested in giving us another workshop to teach us more after hearing us. Well, i dunno whether he's really interested in teaching us more or just want our money. haha! After that, we went White Sands to have lunch and then me, shihui, lingfang, jo chong, chaiyen and liyi went City Link's Pacific Coffee to lim kopi and tok cock. haha. But left early to go work after that... Nothing much interesting on thurs. Went to find yan and consort frenz at SCH after work. couldn't take part in the performance so just went to check it out. After finding them to show my face(cuz yan say i dun love him anymore. haha!), went to Lau Pa Sat to join NUSChoir ppl to have supper. Always like to have meals with a big group. haha. =P Fri was supposed to be my last day at work but think they still us to work so i will be extending til next wed. MZ, WX and CY extending til end of June but i cant cuz i got to serve the nation next week. Treated my whole team to BK during dinner cuz that's the only thing everyone could eat. *phew* if not i'll go broke! haha. After work went to ktv pub with fiona and mandy at Boat Quay. Mandy's bf joined us there and also got us to sing for free. haha. Thanx, chester! First time singing at ktv pub, so paiseh. haha. sang qt badly too. haha. Reached home at ard 4am. tired.... Supposed to go run and swim this mornng with sam, but he msg me to cancel it in the morning. so i went back to sleep and woke up only at 2pm! haha. havent had such a long good sleep for very long. haha. Then rushed to css for css alumni choir prac and i was late. sorry, fush! haha. Felt a bit awkward cuz i was the oldest ard, but we had qt a good prac and managed to learn 2 songs. Not bad for a start but attendance was not very good. Hope for future pracs, attendance will be healthy. Really want this alumni choir to be established and stay like Vic Chorale. But it's gonna be a long tough road, and needs lots of commitment from everyone. Cant make it for the next 2 pracs due to ICT. Hope this doesnt set a bad example for the juniors. haha. If any css ppl out there reading this, if u are interested in joining the alumni choir, pls come! Euro 2004 is gonna kick off in 30 mins time. haha. so excited! Tonite's opening match is between host nation, Portugal and Greece followed by Spain vs Russia. Tmr there's the clash of the Titans -- France vs England. Might be watching with frenz outside for this match tmr. =) Have to wait til mon nite to watch my beloved Azzurri play. Really cant wait to wear my new Azzurri jersey, hold my Italian Flag and scarf, hear the Italian National Anthem and watch the team play against the Danes. This time, the Italians are not so publicised and have kept a lower profile than that of France, England and other torunament favourites. I feel this is good. Less distraction and pressure on them, more concentration. Hope this is the right time that i witness the Azzurri win a major tournament in my lifetime. With a rock-solid central defence partnership of Cannavaro, Nesta, excellent wing-backs in Zambrotta and Panucci, versatile creative midfielders in Andrea Pirlo and Stefano Fiore, Hard-tackling midfield marshall in Christiano Zanetti and Gattuso, an inarguably world's best attacking trio of Del Piero, Totti and Vieri, and not forgetting the explosive young Antonio Cassano, I believe Italy's time has come. The Italian U21 has already won the U21 championship last week. So hope it will help boost the confidence of the senior team. FORZA AZZURRI!!! | Yesterday, me, yan, jenn, weng and andy went to JB as planned! Luckily, there no major jam when we travelled to JB. Reached there at ard 11 and we went City Square walk walk. All of us didnt know where are the good places for shopping and food so we hanged ard at City Square for most of the time. We did went to another place, Plaza Pelangi but there's even less things over there. So in the end we took a cab back to City Square again. haha. Wanted to watch movie, but the malaysian version of GV cinema was super packed and the tix were sold out. sigh... the movie tix there are much cheaper but we couldnt get to watch. damn! After combing almost every inch of City Square, i managed to buy a T-shirt, then we all went to the Famous Duck King for dinner. It was recommended by the taxi-driver when we went pass it on the way back to City Square. We orderd a set meal which included roasted duck, roasted meat, char siew, soup, vege, tau foo, fish and chinese tea! haha. really very cheap, only 70RM! if we had ordered the same dishes back in s'pore, it would have been S$70. haha. We went back s'pore after that cuz me and andy gotta go back to JJC for ODAC ATC. On our way back, we waited for the freaking 170 for nearly 1 bloody hr! super sianz... Reached JJC at ard 9pm. It's been years since i last went back to JJC. It was JJC ODAC ATC. They were still having campfire when we arrived. Very happy to see a lot of my 19th batch frenz came also! We were waiting for Ops Nightingale and it only started at ard 12! Was expecting a good show but in the end the current batch really disappointed us. sigh.. firstly, the Ops started late cuz they wanted the juniors to be tired and sleepy first b4 they surprised them. but we dun think it's necessary. Secondly, the victim were all lying nicely along the straight path which was so unrealistic and too easy for the juniors. Thirdly, the juniors lack the sense of urgency and they were poorly trained in their first aid skills. sigh... In the end, i even have to become victim to show them how the victim should react and make it more realistic. sigh... The standard of JJC ODAC is dropping. Gone are the glory days... After everything, we, 19th batch, went to a nearby coffeeshop and had supper. It's been soooo long since we all sat down together and have a meal or had an outing. It brings back some good old memories. We had a discussion and planned to go Bali in july! Our budget is $300 for 5D/4N. Looking forward to it! =D Hope our plan will come true! Reached home at ard 4am and woke up this morning to play soccer match at ard 8am. super tired... Our team played very well today and we won 3-0 but majority of us still lack fitness. After first half, i received fewer supply from midfield and the pace was slower. Good news is that i'm back and scored 2 goals to mark my comeback to the team! What a feeling! Finally got back my scoring touch. but the sad thing is that i missed some good chances to score a hat-trick. sigh... During the game, i was brought down in the penalty box but no penalty given. damn. Then later on, Frankie won us a penalty but Faizal missed it! He shot straight into the keeper. -.-" Maybe i should have stepped up to take and score my hat-trick. sigh.. oh well... maybe i'm not fated. After soccer, went to work at far far away CP from 4-10. Extremely tired... fell asleep a few times while working. i need sleep! haha. think this must be my longest ever entry. haha! *yawn* shall go sleep now. zzZZZ.... |

| This morning, the NUS 3 cheap guests finally went for run + swim together after many failed attempts. haha. Think tmr we going gym also, hope it'll not be crowded. Had a quiet day at work today. Today, our team finally got to have dinner together for the first time after 3 weeks. haha. Btw we also welcomed a new colleague, Stella but we have to part with Gilles as he is flying back tmr to see his grandpa. Before we left after work, he thanked us for playing host to him in this foreign country and that he greatly enjoyed his stay and experience here. Will we miss him when he's gone? hmm... i dunno... maybe... Anyway, wanna thank him for his effort and patience in training us for the last few weeks, tolerating our mistakes and gave him a lot of problems. haha. Merci and Au Revoir, Gilles! Take care! Tmr another colleague is leaving also. Think our team will be less lively after he leaves. sigh... Last nite, had a discussion with jenn, yan, andy and bui on the sat trip to JB and it's really gonna happen! yeah! Looking forward to sat! haha. But me and andy got to leave early on sat to attend JJC ODAC ATC campfire. It's qt some time since 19th Batch ODAC had a gathering. Everyone's busy with their own things. Hope on sat, everyone could come and meet up and get to know how's everyone's been and also see how the current batch is doing now. =) Gnothe Seauton! |

| Went to sch this morning for Jubilate practice. Think we sang better than last week but still need a little bit of fine tuning to do and we'll be ok. =) Today i was the only Tenor again o_O" but luckily HZ came later. haha. Think today i'm more confident to sing out but hope i didnt sound bad today. haha. I must learn to be more independent and more confident to sing on my own. Btw our good friend, Ken aka "Ma Lau" drop by during our practice today. Good to see him back after 1 sem w/o him. haha. But he's going back to HK on thurs and i think the choir ppl are organising a little outing for him tmr. But i cant join them cuz gotta work tmr. =( Anywayz, today is payday! haha. got my salary for the 2 weeks i've worked. finally beginning to reap the fruits of my hard work. haha. But i cant spend much of the money cuz it will be for the Hawaii trip next year. gotta save up more! Last nite, jenn jio everyone to go JB on sat to eat, shop and movie? haha. Yeah! Hope everyone can go, the more the merrier! gotta enjoy myself after been working these few weeks. haha. We plan to play "Shi Zhi Lu Kou" there! haha! sounds fun! hope our plan will really be carried out and not just plain talk. Over at workplace, i feel that my colleagues are beginning to bond more. All of us now are more outspoken and active compared to when we first started working. haha. We help each other in work and joke and slack ard together! haha! but unfortunately, another 2 more weeks and my contract ends. Nice to have made friends with these bunch of great peeps! haha. =P |
