The story ends here, but his legends will live forever in the heart of all soccer fans..." -- Adapted from Roberto Baggio's World  Last Wed, my favourite pair of white coloured Roby Baggio street soccer boots played its last match. Over the several years, it has served me well. It inspired me to play like my idol, Roby Baggio. It has assisted me to score endless beautiful goals, deliver countless wonderful passes and pinpoint crosses. It made me play beautifully. But now, I have to say goodbye. Thank you so much for all the magical moments we shared together. Will i find another legendary pair of boots like you? I'll be searching...As promised that i shall blog abt it, here it is. Last thurs, we had our usual igualan MJ session at my place. Like usual, i won again and i was the biggest winner. Recalling a recent familair sentence from a certain post: "I brought him to hell, left him there and nv looked back..", lightning really does strike twice. Weng was brought to hell yet again by the legendary Italian Sharpshooter and he perished like he did before. The Italian Sharpshooter was not doing well in the beginning, kept hitting the bullseye several times. However, during one special game, reminiscence of Italy vs Australia match came to mind. It was the very last pass of the game, however, instead of kicking the ball out to end the game in a draw, Weng bravely made a pass! And the ISS intercepted the pass and ran towards the penalty box. Weng tried to tackle in desperation and caught the legs of the ISS. PENALTY!!! Up comes ISS as he coolly slot the ball home for victory! GOAL!!! It was the defining moment of the tournament and the ISS went on to win the coveted World Cup that nite! Another epic moment by the Italian Sharpshooter. =) |

 As I walked past a certain bus stop last nite, a familiar orange caught my eye. True enough, it was a poster on my prev faculty -- School of Comnputing aka SoC. It's the 1st time I saw an ad put up by NUS for SoC. Previously, I only came across ads for Biz cuz NUS was competing with NTU and SMU for biz undergrads. So dun tell me that now SoC is desperate for new blood too? Anyway, this poster made me miss school! Miss bidding for modules, planning my own timetable, whether to skip lectures, undescribable satisfaction after completing a run-able, bugless (that's quite difficult) project or program (that's what non-SoCian will never understand), having lunch at the "pink tables", those yr 1 orientation days, my OG (we're still a close group of frenz til now while most OGs no longer exists already), print quota, server to host own pics and vids, seamless wireless everywhere + aircon in SoC, the joy and laughter, arguments, tears, stress and anger while doing projects even with frenz that u know, the Milo truck serving unattainable-if-DIY delicious Milo, SoC IFG Bball team 2006(finally i made the cut in my last yr), SoC IFG soccer teams 2004, 2005 and 2006(I had the honour to captain this bunch of good players in my last yr) and all my frenz whom I've got to known during my brief 3 years there! I miss SoC so much... |

| The Need for Speed.. |

| Since young, I always have a liking for speed. My fav animal is Cheetah -- World's fastest land animal. My fav comic character is Flash -- Fastest man alive My fav cartoon character is Road Runner -- Beep! Beep! My fav car is Ferrari -- The Prancing Horse I love this Looney Tunes (my fav cartoon!) episode where the Road Runner and Speedy Gonzales are competing in a race to see who's the fastest between them. While evil Sylvester and sly Coyote tried to sabotage the race and catch their prey. haha. Of course, as always, their tricks and traps didnt work and got themselves hurt instead. At the end, it was a tie between the 2 speed demons. What a race! There is also this episode in Smallville where Clark(Superman) and Bart(Impulse or Kid Flash) racing too. Clark was trying to get hold of Bart to stop him from doing some wrong deed. However, The Man of Steel was not fast enough for the Scarlet Speedster. Cuz Bart is the fastest man alive. So if anyone still has that burning question "Who's faster? Superman or Flash?" You know the answer now. Bart will eventually become The Flash in future. In fact, he is the 4th generation of Flash, his predecessors were Jay Garrick, Barry Allen and Wally West. So if I ever become a superhero with super powers, I hope I'm gifted with super speed, moving at the speed of light, vibrating through buildings, travelling through time and space, just like Flash. How am I going to save the world with this power? I dunno. My destiny will lead me to it. Haha. Probably watched too much Smallville and Heroes. But it 's nice to fantasize once in a while. It's makes one happy, hopeful and positive. So if you ever see a red blur image flash pass you the next time when you walk along the street, it could probably be me. trying to save the world. *zoom* :) |

| Never felt so tired before... |

| Age is catching up on me.. I'm not the energizer young chap i used to be. Or probably i just tire myself too much le. haha. Here's the marathon of activities i had... Touched down from hong kong yest noon after 7 days away from home, slept for 1 hr and left my comfy bed to play soccer at NIE, followed by overnite mahjong at Ang's til the next day morning**. Slept at 8am and woke up at 11am to go sentosa for my batch outing. Sickening rain non-stop and spoilt the day. However, we still managed to have fun playing soem ball games, no tan for us though. Went to cafe del mar for dinner and drinks. Only reached home at 4am today. Totally KOed til 4pm just now. Could have slept more though but i forced myself up so that i wun waste my precious off day sleeping. I still need sleep very badly. But i'll leave it for tonite. haha. Flashback.. Happy Chinese Pig Year, Everyone! Kinda late but it's CNY with a few days left. haha. I was damn freaking lucky to have the eve,1st and 2nd day off for CNY. So i managed to follow our yearly routine of hoem visiting and gambling! haha. This year, i won again. As like many years of CNY, i usually win and won big. This year's windfall was not as big but satisfactory. haha. Sadly, i couldnt enjoy more of the CNY festivities as i left for work to Hong Kong and San Francisco on the 3rd day. Here i am, back from work. having a 5 day lay off from work. Great! But the CNY mood has already gone. The only thing left is the last day of CNY where there will be some celebrations and chingay i think. That's it. Another 365 days, 52 weeks, 12months to my favourite festive holidays again. ** Played mj with igualans 2 days ago. And i finally took revenge! mauahaha! As promised i will blog abt it. Bought new glittering blue mj tiles from HK for weng and we wanted to find a victim to open light for it. We've just welcome the Year of the Pig rite? and sure we did. We have used Bui's blood to open light for the new mj set. It was damn lot of pig's blood spilled on it. a whole bloody swimming pool of it. Revenge was taken after losing to 3 of them last month, i destroyed all 3 of them that nite with even more venom. yeah! oosh! yahoo! woot! This fri, will they recover from the trauma and defeat? The legendary italian sharpshooter awaits you. Gotta go for dinner now. Hmm.. didnt i just had linner or dunch? Or well.. Arrivederci, everyone! |
