| Results of my MRI scan are out. My worst fears have come true. It is indeed a ligament tear... To be exact it's an ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) tear in my left knee. Gonna need surgery to fix it if not it will heal by itself.. This injury has caused a lot of disruption to my plans. f**k.. Spoke to my platoon sergeant and CSM abt delaying my op for ICT. Seems like i'm still able to clear this yr's ICT and then go for op after that. Doc told me i have the option to downgrade permanently but i've decided not to. There's too much for me to let go if i downgrade. I would be transferred to a non-combat vocation i.e to leave Commando formation and also serve longer ICT. But the most impt of all is my buddies in Commando. We've been thru hell, shit, pain and suffering, bonded like super glue and we all know that in times of war, our backs will be covered, no one will be left behind. No one will ever understand this kind of feeling.. I want to ROD with this band of brothers. Medical claims should be no prob i hope.. This op costs a bomb. sigh.. Another thing bothering me is regarding my future job seeking opportunities. I'm planning to try for a job in future, i really really hope this injury wun affect my chance for being selected. I've been waiting so long.. please dun let it die on me... |

| Yup. I'm finally back after 17 days of backpacking with the Igualans thru Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Bangkok, Pattaya and Krabi. It was hell of a trip. Shall update and post up pics soon. Total of 400+ pics, so i need time to select the best to post. Hmm.. After being away for so long, suddenly felt lost. Felt that i was suddenly thrown back to reality and mundane routines. I do miss home and my loved ones but other than that, i felt emptiness. Probably i'm not looking forward to the coming weeks. It's crunch time. Lotsa obstacles to clear.. Everyone pray for me... |

| Tonite, me and 4 other good frenz will be embarking on a crazy adventure to the SEA(South East Asia). Will be away for 17 days. My longest ever overseas trip. We'll be backpacking to Ho Chi Minh city, Pnom Penh, Siem Reap, Bangkok and Krabi. It holds uncanny resemblance to our childhood favourite story and tv series -- Journey to the West. haha! Here's the who's who in our version of Journey to the SEA... Tang Seng -- Sam Monkey King -- Me Pigsy -- Bui Sandy -- Weng White Horse -- Ang  Dun miss me, everyone! esp. you, turQ! haha.
