| Result of today's World Cup 2005/1: Full-Time: Kevin FC 1 CS2105 1 After Extra-Time: Kevin FC 1 CS2105 1 Penalty Shootout: Kevin FC 5 CS2105 4 Kevin FC has won the championship!!! Ole ole ole!!! Match Review: After an intriguing 90 mins of non-stop action, both teams were still tied at 1-1. With phyisical tiredness set in on both teams, both teams failed to find the winning goal during extra-time. So it was to be decided by a penalty shootout. Both teams scored their 1st 4 penalties. But down to the last penalty, Kevin FC's star goalkeeper Chilli made a superb diving save to deny CS2105 FC. Then it was Kevin FC's star striker Legend who took the last decisive penalty. He holds the ball in his arms and calmly walked towards the little white spot and placed the ball on it. He took a few steps back and looked up at the fans ard him and looked up in the sky. The pressure was immense but he was focused. He knew he cant afford to miss. Everyone's heart in the stadium and at home froze and stopped beating. Time seem to have stopped. The referee blew thw whistle. Legend ran a few steps, and with a swing of his cultured right foot, he wrong footed the goalkeeper and the whole stadium went wild and estatic! Kevin FC are the World Champions!!! What a match, what a penalty shootout, what a tournament, what a team, what a dream come true! Forza Kevin FC! Enjoy the holidays! woohoo!!!  |

| Results of today's Quarter-Final match: CS3265 FC 0 Kevin FC 2 Match Review: Kevin FC studied their opponents well and outplayed them in every department. CS3265 FC did posed some threat and showed some good plays during the match though but couldnt find a way past Kevin FC's tight defence. A morale boosting win for Kevin FC. Kevin FC is now through to the Semi-Finals! Semi-Final Preview: Kevin FC vs LAM2201 FC Match Preview: These two teams met only once before, during the last tournament and Kevin FC came up tops with a 3-0 thrashing. But this time, LAM2201 FC is back with a a better and very much improved team. They have improved in every department of the team and have a mix of experienced and young players. It will be much more diffuclt for Kevin FC this time round. With history favouring Kevin FC, they will be hoping that lightnining strike twice and history repeats itself tmr. | Today's match results: Match #1: Kevin FC 1 CS2301 FC 1 Match #2: GEK1038 FC 0 Kevin FC 2 Match #1 Review: It was a tough match for Kevin FC but they managed to score a late equaliser to steal a point off their difficult opponents. Not a very good start to the tournament for Kevin FC. Tough match indeed. Match #2 Review: After a bad start, Kevin FC finally picked up the momentum and found some form against GEK1038 FC. GEK1038 FC played well and posed some threats during the match but Kevin FC managed to keep their act together and grabbed a crucial win. | This week is the last week of sch before reading period starts and then it will be the exams. Went for malay lecture today 4-6pm, the only lesson i have today. =( One good thing is that i got back my listening compre test and i didnt do as bad as i tot it would be. 16/20. not bad but average. So i think my hopes of getting A for malay is still there. haha. Had a nice weekend last week. stayed at home and slack. did some reading though. So nice to have a weekend to rest and slack. No work and a little bit of studying. haha. Dunno y. Beginning to dislike my job at comics mart. Think the pay is too low and it's not worth the time. But need to earn that extra money so meanwhile i'll just have to bear with it. anyway, it's quite slack and i could do my work while working. Hope to get a good part-time job like last year during the holidays. Hopefully chaiyen got lobang. haha. really worried for my 2105. gonna pray hard that i'll pass that @#$%^ module. Dislike the lecturers, lab TA, their way of running that module, all except my tutor. Think he's quite a good tutor except that he speaks a bit fast. haha. So gonna feedback that to them in the survey. *pray hard hard* Champion's League tonite. AC Milan vs Inter Milan. Milan had a slip-up last weekend Serie A, that will help to waken them up a bit for tonite's clash. They are favourites to go thru to the semis! Forza Rossoneri! |

| *phew* Juz finished my Oral Presenatation and also my malay listening compre test today. Finally, it's over. However, i think i flunked both. haha. well, i dun wanna think anymore, juz move on to other things coming ahead. At least, i feel less stressful and able to get more some rest. Almost all my tutorials and letures are/have ended. Leaving only malay, which has 2 tests next week. oh man, i'm beginning to regret taking this module. it's getting very difficult. Wonder if i would continue to take malay 3 to complete the whole malay syllabus in NUS. i shall see my grade at the end of this sem. Juz came back from watching "The Pacifier". Vin Diesel, all big and tough guy, US Navy Seal, being a part-time baby-sitter. Quite a funny show. but not worth to watch it during weekends, weekdays will do. Also heard that the bloody price of movie tix are going up again! argh!! what the F***!!! It's going to be $7/weekdays and $9.50/weekends! it's so darn ex! think more and more ppl is going to support piracy. Go Piracy Go! Maybe i shall go to JB and watch. Think i can watch 3 movies there for the price of 1 here. sigh.. Champ League tonite! It's the Euro Mailn derby -- AC Milan vs Inter Milan! It's gonna be real exciting. Hope Milan keep up the good form and win their city rivals. Forza Rossoneri! |
