| Here we are, 364 days into 2007, the last 24 hours of 2007 left. Shall recap some of the nice and not so nice things that happened to my life in 2007... In no particular order... - spent my 1st sec of 2007 in a plane in san francisco. "sucked big time.." - was lucky to celebrate eve, 1st n 2nd day of cny in our beloved Singapura. "huat ah!" - managed to catch a live football match in manchester. Man City 0 Reading 2 "boring match.." - fortunate to have successfully passed probation in april. "phew!" - finally get to fly to london and met jenn over there. "nice!" - went back to reservist after missing last year's. "this band of bros still rocks!" - went on a 3 weeks journey to the S.E.A with igualans. "it was crazy fun!" - went under the knife for the 1st time for torn left knee ligament "still hurts.." - reunited with half of 875ers during jc99. "miss u guys so much!" - company gave me 219 sydney as bday pressie. 2nd time bday overseas. 1st was @ brunei during ns. "thank you... " - roster got better towards the end of the year. got to go to new destinations. "finally, they noticed me... finally" - missed c.v 3rd concert which i felt was more special and more "feel" than the prev 2 gigs.. "damned.. anyway, well done c.v kias!" - realised next year's cny eve and 1st day will be spent eating curry in bombay. "*&$#@%!!! hmm.. my angbaos better not get lesser.." - 23 dec @ ade & jw's. x'mas eve @ leon's. x'mas day worked to cold, snow capped frankfurt. 4 gifts exchanges... "and 1 happy guy =)" - 31 dec: no crazy, overcrowded, dancing to loud music-ed, get yourself pissed drunk countdown parties. Just nice and steamy steamboat/countdown @ song's with a bunch of common ppl with unique habits. "HUAT AH!" that's abt it for my 2007. might have missed out some other interesting events but these are what i can only rem at 430am. kinda missed igualans... it's been long time since all 8 of us sat down at a table together. rem the past countdowns with igualans. think we had 2. if i nv rem worngly, 1 was @ suntec with banglas and ivy lost her wallet, the other at west coast park where i did the air jordan? New beginnings, new endeavours, new experiences, new changes, new chapters to be written... Please let twenty oh eight will be a fruitful, eventful(more good than bad i hope), smooth sailing, full of good luck and pleasant experiences, and happy year for me. 2007 was good. 2008 shall be better! No resolutions for me. i dun have the habit of making them. juz wanna sincerely pray and wish that my dreams/daydreams/fantasies/hopes/amibitions will be realised in the coming year.   Just back from Frankfurt yesterday. My 1st time there on work. Sort of been there before when me and some nus choir frenz went on our post competition trip to Italy. We took an overnite bus from Prague to Frankfurt and reach there early morning. Our flight to Milan was at nite. So we decided tour around the city. And now I realised we really actually toured the whole of Frankfurt city area. haha. This trip to Frankfurt was nice. Weather was super cold though. Windy and rainy. Went to the X'mas night market at the town area. The atmosphere is so christmassy! With beautiful old cottage houses as backdrop, there stood a 6-storey high X'mas tree. Nice! Tried the warm wine over there also. Shiok! Ate local pork knuckles in a traditional german cottage-like restaurant. Had german dark beer and bratwurst too! Oh, and the italian restaurant that my colleagues always go, is a AC Milan fan restaurant! All over the walls are posters of Milan team and players. There was a poster with Cannavaro lifting the World Cup too! Having lunch at that place was so high! Never imagine I would be able to find fellow Milan and Italy fans in Germany. haha. Forza Rossoneri n Azzurri!! Will be going to Frankfurt again on X'mas day. what the hell... hopefully someone willing to change with me. Havent been to Amsterdam or Copenhagen yet. *pray* |
