| Time: 7.20pm 1.5 hrs til reporting time. 3.5 hrs til flight departure. Had my sleep in the afternoon... had my dinner... Finished doing my "bible"... luggage almost finish packing... feeling anxious,excited & stressed... All my other colleagues have flown le and are now overseas. Some even coming back tmr le. How are they? Did they do well? Are they safe and sound? Soon it will be turn. Stressed!! Even after the thorough wet runs we had, i still feel jittery abt my first flight. Even though it's just an on-the-job training flight. Really really hope everything goes well, have a safe and pleasant journey. *pray* Please dun zap me, seniors! Received lotsa well wishes from frenz, thanks everyone! Sigh.. C.V having Sentosa outing this sat! BUT I CANT GO! *SOB SOB* haiz.. why everything i miss C.V outing one. so suay.. Hope u guys have fun, must miss me hor! haha. Ok, gotta go prepare le. Miss you, girl! hugz~ Will be back on Sun! =) Goodbye Singapore! Ohaiyo Tokyo! |

| I'm 2 days late for blogging about Common.Voices' 2nd concert -- For You... Another Place Another Voice. But the feeling is still there! It happened and ended so fast that i had little time to savour the moment on stage singing with my fellow C.V kias. ='( It was such a wonderful feeling. Sense of achievement, pride and joy, esp. when you hear the audience's applause. All those practices, small groups, sectionals, extra practices, disagreement, tears, hardship, warm-ups, running, panting, meetings really pushed us to improve and the tough times, dinner, outings we went thru really brought us closer and made the ending even more sweeter and more "feeling". Kinda sad that everything has ended.. but not Common.Voices. Felt lost after the concert but also relieved and delighted that our concert was smooth running with no cock-ups though musically-wise, there was a slight hiccup but we managed well. Nothing is perfect in this world. So i'm glad we pulled it off. So many worries, so many uncertainties, so many insecurities were overcome. One regret i had was that i didnt took photos with each C.V kia. *sob* Cuz some of us will be taking a "break" from C.V for work or studies.. The thought of it makes me wanna tear.. It's kinda like graduation. Friends part and go and dunno when we'll meet again.. sigh.. Read from Bui's post that some of of frenz were impressed by our committment and dedication to Common.Voices. Come to think of it, it's quite true. It's so hard to form an laumni choir. My batch ppl tried, it stayed on for a while before giving way. This time we had it for real and i'm proud to be part of this achievement. Something that i would want to remember til when i'm 60,70 yrs old, something to tell my kids, something to be proud of, something meaningful in my if-not-boring life. Now the crunch time is here to keep it going. Keep the flame of passion burning. I'm also unsure of my future. I'll be flying. No weekends, no holidays, no x'mas, no CNY. everything depends on my roster. But if i'm free, i will make time for 16 wonderful peeps that never fail to put a smile on my face! =) Thank Yous.... Thanks Fush for her unlimited patience and teachings. She was so stressed that she broke down a few times. Thanks Bui for ensuring the smooth running of the whole concert. I'm sorry this "AP" didnt do a good job. sigh.. Thanks Sok Ching also for pushing and tidying up the concert preparations. Thanks Song for all the puclicity materials, video, photos, costumes and many many more! Love the prog booklet!! Thanks Ying Ting, QJ and Evelyn for "hosting" extra practices and helping to fine-tune us and also for Evelyn's after-prac desserts. haha. Thanx both ZJs for juggling NS and choir. Thanx Yi En for the costumes, logistics and nice solo! Thank Nana, Small Ng Ng, Evelyn for helping out with the costumes, publicity materials. Thanks BP ppl for staying thru the nite to do the lovely prog booklets! Thanks to newbies, Sam, ALison and Kenneth for joining this wonderful family and contributing their voices, ideas, efforts to make this concert a success. | It's National Day! No work! haha. Happy 41st Birthday, Singapore! Feels like a sunday to me. The day is relaxing and soothing. Anyway, last nite was great fun. Thanx Ben for everything there and also thanx to wonderful peeps of Batch 875! You guys rox big time!! We must do it again soon! haha! Anyway, just had our tests this week and concluded basic sep and start of first aid. Instructor is an ex army medic who speaks like a bullet train and monotonous, crack jokes that ppl catch no ball, called me "red cross" (damn.. regretted saying i'm first aid trained. argh..) and he has the "he knows every god damn thing in the world" attitude. just our luck.. gotta bear with it for 4 more days. Anyway, the start of a new course means more tests! ahhh.... having another test this fri. super duper sianz... 1st Commando Battalion is Best Combat Unit yet again! Congrats to my juniors. Ican still remember the pain in our hearts during NDP 2002. We scored redcon 1 for atec but was dragged down by stupid drivers and MT line. Didnt win Best Combat Unit that year and forced to march NDP'02 as supporting contingnent in No.4. BCU went to undeserving ppl who sat in tanks.. WTF! Once in a lifetime chance to wear No.1 and march in NDP and viewed by 4 million ppl gone.. So cherish this moment, fellow junior cdo. For Honour and Glory! |

| Went to Kate's place on Sun to discuss abt grad stuff. Had some progress but still a bit behind time. Hope everyone can put in more effort for the performance. Hehe. My line goes like this: My world speaks one language: FOOTBALL. And football has only one champion: ITALY. Forza Azzurri! Campioni Del Mondo! Haha. I'm such a crazy Italian football fan! woohoo!! =P Finished part of my assessment today. tmr there's still more to come.. sigh.. there's so many tests, assessments, exams.. I'm working but i feel like i'm still studying. work macam like study(see my msn nick. haha) But luckily at least i managed to pass all of them so far. *phew* Basic SEP gonna end soon. Next will be First Aid. Used to hold a Standard First Aid Licence but nv go renew it so expired le. haha. Hope i still remember my bandages, CPR and stuff. =) 2 more weeks to Narita and Sydney! stressed! hope i wun screw up! =P And also wish Ellen all the best with B876! Dun forget us! We gonna miss her so much.. sob sob... ='( 2 more weeks to C.V's 2nd public concert! stressed too! practice have been intense and fruitful. Hope we peak at the right time and give a smashing concert! C'mon C.V kias! It will be another great concert to be remembered. 2 more weeks to our big big day! Going KL this weekend. Last yr was Bintan. haha. So next yr go where leh? haha. Anyway, hope this short trip will be fun, beautiful, sweet and lovely! =) 2 more weeks to payday. kinda broke now... due to my study loan. sigh sigh... ='( Must get thru this tough time! grrr!!! Against All Odds!!! |
