| Juz came back from Zouk. Still very awake and sober.. It's juz not a good day to go clubbing.. First, we only realised that we guys have no free entry with our crew pass today when we were at Zouk already (only the gals can go in free).. WTF! So we had to pay freaking $30 to go into Velvet reluctantly. And it was so damn crowded.. Another turn off.. Usually crowded is good, but today it's TOO crowded at Velvet. We hop over to Phuture and Zouk here and there and everywhere. Phuture's super crowded too but the music is good so some of us stayed while me and a few others went back to Velvet. Then, it was good. Music's good, lesser crowd. But too bad i was not high enuff to really get into the clubbing mood. didnt really drank much. still wide awake and sober. A few others left early.. felt a bit disappointing. Anyway, too many ppl also hard to coordinate. Keep finding ppl whole nite.. sianz.. Next time shall go with less ppl and more onz ppl. haha. Overall, it was still nice clubbing with 875. =) If only we could all stick together at a place and not spilt up, it would be great! Anyway, hope faith and leon are feeling alrite. Take care bro! | I'm going into my 7th week at work now. Got to know where i'm flying to next month. So excited!! Will be flying to Tokyo on 25th Aug and Sydney on 29th Aug. Hope my seniors treat me and my buddy well. haha. Also got to know my future team and ward when i start flying solo. Met with my ward leader and i'm lucky to have such a nice ward leader! =) Still a long way to go.. Pray that everything goes smoothly for me and Batch 875! 2 more months to go, 875!! Against All Odds!! =) Received my first pay also! But bulk of it goes to repaying loans.. sigh.. feel so demoralised and unmotivated.. so i'm still a poor guy. must not anyhow spend money. must save for bigger things!! C.V concert is crawling nearer... 19th Aug. We're still not up to standard yet. But everyone's been working hard. It's a nice feeling seeing everyone putting effort for the concert, a concert of our own! again! I'm quite lagging behind. Must catch up soon! Common Voices proudly presents... | Yes!!! Italy is World Cup Champions!!! My dream has come true!! I finally get to witness my beloved Italy win the World Cup in my lifetime!!! The feeling is incredible! I will never ever ever forget this moment! No words can decribe my feeling. It's incredible, totally ecstatic!! But it's sad that i cant really share my delight with anyone cuz there's no other crazy, totally insane, hardcore Italy fan i know of. Well, guess that the most impt thing is that i'm happy! How i wish i could fly to Rome and join their World Cup celebrations!! Nvm.. Soon i will get to fly to Italy! =) Hopefully they have some exhibition to display the the trophy! Kinda disappointed that Captain Cannvaro didnt win the Golden Ball. =( It's was awarded to the Shameful French retiree. Anyway, forget abt that. Everyone, let's celebrate!!! "We are the Champions! | Semi-Finals predictions: Germany vs Italy = ITALY Portugal vs France = France I got them spot on! Accuracy = 100%! Now for the Grand Finale... Italy vs France Italia vs Francais Azzurri vs Les Bleus It's Revenge Time!!! Grrr!! After 2 heartbreaking upsets in Paris(WC '98 quater-final penalty shotout loss) and Rotterdam (Golden Goal loss in Euro 2000 final), i believe it's time for the Azzurri to finally break the curse and win it. No more heartbreaks, no more tears... only tears of joy.. of sweet victory and memories... I can still clearly remember USA '94... I was only in Pri 6. It was Italy vs Brazil. Full-time: 0-0 Extra-time: still 0-0 Itlay eventually lost out on penalty shoot-out. It was a very heartbreaking moment for me... I could still remember(literally) the heart pain i felt then... ='( So i waited tournaments after torunaments... Euro 96, WC'98 until Euro 2000. I thought it's about time. I could still clearly recall the route to the finals in Rotterdam. The semi-final clash against Holland was unforgettable. It was pure miracle. Italy miraculously won holland on penalty shoot out, thus breaking the curse of the PK shoot-out. However, it never ended the way i wanted it to be... The Italian defence had been very solid(as always), however, in the very last minute of injury-time, Cannavaro missed a header and Pires cut in from the left and passed to Wiltord. He shot, it lobang-ed Nesta and Toldo was caught by surprise and it went in the near post. Trezeguet eventually scored the Golden Goal and blah blah.. How cruel... So if u think Italy's last min penalty against Australia was cruel. Think again... Revenge has been taken... Against Czech Republic(for Euro '96) and Guus Hiddink(WC' 2002).. Now it's time for Revenge against France! (WC '98 and Euro 2000). I've waited 12 long years for and Italy to be at soccer's greatest stage and 6 long years for Italy to reach another final. Let there be no more heart break please... My heart cant take it anymore. Please fulfil my childhood dreams... a dream that I would witness Italy winning soccer's greatest prize -- The World Cup. | Italia! Italia! Italia! chants the Azzurri tifoso. Yes. Italy is in the semis! Take that, all you who doubted Italy! What have u all got to say now? Go Go Go Italia!! It's an Italian job well done. Now, bring on the mighty Germans! Italy fear no one! Meanwhile, SINGAPOREANS' all time favourite teams, England and Brazil are out!!! It's kinda unexpected but to me, I'm happy cuz firslty, i won the my bet on the Brazil-France match and secondly, I wanna see how TNP and singaporean readers respond to the losses and see their stupid sad faces!! Singaporeans and the media are all so sucked up to the EPL and England. They dun know what's really good football and players. Every week, i only see 1 or 2 pages of other European League news and 10-20 pages of EPL news. WTF!! Stoopid mainstream consumers! (Like what sam says..)
