Of crutches and knee brace

It's been almost 1 week since i had my knee surgery. my knee is still swollen probably due to lack of icing and elevation and a little excessive walking. went for physiotheraphy today. Saw this young chap who had the same surgery as me, dunno how long he's been here but he looks like he's almost regain the strength and stability of his knee. When will i become like that? One week at home feels really draggy. feel so handicapped. sigh.. hope i can recover fast enuff at least to move about on my own. physical and mental torture.. argh.. >.<
