Had a wonderful weekend overseas, not overseas for work but for holiday. Went on a short KL trip with Wahine ppl. It was all eat, shop, eat ,shop all the way. haha. It was probably the first time we had such a good attendance for an overseas trip. All came except Stella and Mayi, so there were 9 of us. Took a midnite coach from Golden Mile and reach KL at ard 5am the next day. On the way back, we took an evening coach back and arrive back at ard 11pm. During our short adventure in KL, we conquered Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Times Square and Mid Valley. The girls as expected went on a crazy shopping spree, they each averaged 2 pairs of shoes while we guys only bought some really good bargain shirts from B.U.M. We met up with Vianne's cousin also. Our target for our trip was to have 6 meals daily and we nearly achieved that. haha. We had dim sum for breakfast which wsa only so-so, then lunch at Kim Gary HK cafe, high tea at Secret Recipe, Dinner at a carpark "zi char" place and lastly bak gua and desserts at KL's famous food street. The next day, we went to Mid Valley for more shopping. We had A&W root beer float, curly fries, coney dog for brunch! woot! And then had our last meal in KL near Puduraya and it was delicious wanton mee with roast meat platter(soy chicken, char siew and roast meat). After that, we hop onto our coach and back to reality.. What a weekend getaway! So when and where will be our next one? haha. |

Let's go thru the years and take a look at this magnificent reign and the R.I.P victims... My virgin trip to London! |
Tuesday, April 03, 2007 |
Last week, i finally had the chance to go to London! Can't believe after 6 months, i finally get to go there. Cuz my company goes there 3 times a day, 7 times a week. How was it possible not to be sent there for work? Well, finally i got it. London is not really my dream/favourite city or what. Just that everyone has been there and i havent! In addition, i miss Europe! I seldom get to work to Europe. Had a scalding incident at work. I'm alrite but i felt sorry for the company as the doctor charged a staggering 150 freaking pounds just for treating a scalded wrist. That's a whopping S$450! Well, i didnt want to see a doc but my supervisor insisted. And of cuz, i did some sightseeing beign my 1st time there. Met with Jenn over there and we did a little sightseeing. We visited the Big Ben, London Eye, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace,etc... Ok, I shall let my pics do the talking. =) |
